About
I'm Kate Lis — a licensed health insurance agent, mom of two, and someone who genuinely believes that navigating Medicare shouldn't feel overwhelming.
I got into this work because I saw too many people I care about struggle to understand their options when they turned 65 — confusing mail, conflicting advice, and decisions that felt permanent even when they weren't. I wanted to be the person who sits down, explains things in plain English, and actually listens.
Today I help people across AR, FL, IL, KY, LA, MI, MS, NC, and TX compare Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D drug plans — at no cost to you, since I'm paid by the insurance carriers, not by my clients. My goal is simple: make sure you understand your choices well enough to feel confident, not confused.
When I'm not helping clients, you'll find me chasing around my two kids, or working on my nonprofit, SPIFI, which provides scholarships to first-generation American students. I believe in building things that actually help people — whether that's a Medicare plan that fits your life, or a scholarship that changes a student's path.
